Caretaker Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, met in the afternoon at the Grand Serail, with a delegation from the Association of Families of Lebanese Students Abroad, which included Sheikh Jihad Al-Abdallah, Elie Freiha, Nayef Ghaith, Rabih Kanj, Abir Yehya, Mohammad Al-Abdallah, Riad Khoury, and Assaad Al-Zaher, in the presence of Minister Charbel Wehbe and PCM Secretary General, Judge Mahmoud Makie.
The delegation briefed premier Diab about the situation of students abroad in light of the non-application of the Student Dollar Law. The delegation requested assistance in compelling banks to implement this Law. PM Diab promised to follow up on the issue with the concerned parties.
